Helias Library Squad By Melissa Hoehn             Do you like movies, books, or poetry? If so, you might want to consider “checking out” the Library Squad. The Library Squad (LS) is a group of students who plan fun activities for the student body throughout the year. On Wednesday, September 10, the Library Squad had its first meeting. The first activity coming up is “Banned Book Week,” during which students are encouraged to read books that have been banned from libraries or challenged in some way. Other activities being planned by LS include movie nights, a poetry slam, and several different contests. Be sure to listen to the announcements for dates of activities and meetings if you are interested.
